Tisare gaon pahuche toh vaha Mahadev ji Nandi par beth gaye, Parvati ji pedal chalne lagi. Istriya boli aap to Nandi par bethe hai aur bechari ko pedal chala raha haiChothe gaon pahuche toh Mahadev ji aur Parvati ji dono Nandi par beth gaye. Vaha ki istriya boli ki 'dekho dono Nandi par beth gaye jaise Nandi ki koi jaan hi na ho'. Itna sunkar Mahadev ji Parvati ji se bole 'sansar chadhe ko bhi hasta hai aur pedal ko bhi hasta hai'. Shivji ne parvatiji ki mataji se kaha unhe bahut bhukh lag rahi hai. Parvatiji ki maa ne shivji ko bhijan parosa. Shivji ne rasoi mein bana pura bhojan kha liya. Ab ve lautne ki zidd karne lage. Parvatiji bathue ki pindi (fogle ki pindi) aur kuch bache hue fal khakar pani piker rawana ho gayi. Aage raste mein vishraam karne ke liye ped ke neeche baith gaye. Shivji ne pucha, “Parvatiji, aapne kya khaya?” Parvatiji boli jo aapne khaya wahi maine bhi khaaya. Thaki aur bhuki parvatiji so gayi. Shivji ne parvatiji ke pet ka dhakkan kholkar dekha. Wahaan Bathue (fogle) ki pindi, fal aur pani tha. Thodi der baad parvatiji sokar uthi toh Shivji ne kaha, “Mujhe maalum hai ki aapne aaj kya khaya hai.” Parvatiji ne kaha, “Aaj toh meri dhakni kholkar dekhi hai lekin aage se duniya mein kisi bhi stri ki dhakni nahi khulni chahiye. Uss din se sabke pet ki dhakni khulni bandh ho gai. Isiliye kehte hai, aurat ko peehar ki baat sasural mein aur sasuraal ki baat peehar mein nahi karni chahiye.
3. Gangaur ke din kuch auratein mata gaura (Parwatiji) ki puja karne ke liye subah jaldi aa gai. Parwatiji ne saara suhaag unhe baat diya. Thodi der baad kuch aur auratein aai. Shiv bhagwan ne kaha ab inhe aap kya doge? Tab parwatiji ne apnea ankh se kaajal aur maang mein se sindoor nikala, tiki se roli nikali aur chitli (choti) anguli se amar suhaagin hone ke chitee de diye saath he aashirwaad diya. Hey bhagwan, katha kehne wale aur sun ne wale ko amar suhaag deve.
4. Ek din Bhagwan Shiv aur Parvatiji kailash parvat se srushti ka bhraman karne ke liye neeche utre. Thodi der jaane par unhe gaay mili, uske bachaa hone wala tha, woh bohut tadap rahi thi. Parwatiji ne pucha maharaj isko kya hua hai? Tab Shivji ne kaha ki iske bachaa honewala hai, isiliye takleef mein hai. Parvatiji boli itna dukh pana padta hai toh maharaj merit oh gaanth he bandh do. Shivji bole meri baandhi hui gaanth wapas nahin khulegi, aao aage chale.
Aage gaye toh ek ghodi mili, uske bachaa hone wala tha, woh bhi bohut tadap rahi thi. Parvatiji boli “Mein toh itni takleef aur dard nahi sahan kar sakti, aap toh meri gaanth bandh do.” Shivji bole meri baandhi hui gaanth wapas nahi khulegi, aao aage chale.
Aage gaye toh ek pura nagar udaas aur sunsaan tha, kyunki raani ke santaan hone wali thi. Raani takleef mein thi. Parvatiji boli, merit oh gaanth baadh do, itna dukh paana pade toh gaanth bandhi hui achi hai. Parvatiji ke hath ko dekhkar bhagwaan ne gaanth baandh di.
Bhraman karne ke baad jab ve lautne lage to dekha jo nagar udaas tha wahaan rani ke ladka hua tha. Baaje baj rahe the, badhaiya bat rahi thi, sab khush the. Parvatiji boli maharaj meri bhi gaanth khol do, mujhe bhi bachha chahiye. Aage aane par ghodi ka bachha uske aage peeche ghum raha tha. Parvatiji bahut khush hui aur unhe dekhkar boli ki aisa beta mujhe bhi chahiye. Meri gaanth khol do. Aage gaye toh gaay ke bachda hua tha aur woh use pyar kar rahi thi. Parvatiji boli mujhe bhi bachaa chahiye, meri gaanth khol do. Shivji bole, “di hui gaanth ab nahin khul sakti.”
Ghumne ke baad dono kailash parvat par laute. Ek din parvatiji ne apne shareer par ubtan lagaya. Fir usse utarkar mail ka putla banaya. Putle ko jeevandaan dekar usse darwaze par pehre ke liye baitha diya aur kaha ki kisiko bhi andar nahi aane dena, mein nahaane jaa rahi hu. Thodi der mein vahaan shivji aaye. “Maharaj aap andar nahin jaa sakte, meri maa naha rahi hai” - Putla bola. Mahadevji bole, “ Kaun Maa?” kehkar trishul maara toh uski garden utar gayi. Ve andar chale gaye. Parvatiji boli, “Aapko kisine roka nahi kya?” Mahadevji bole, “ Ek ziddi ladka rok raha tha, maine gusse mein uski garden utaar kar andar aaya hun” Parvatiji boli wah mera beta tha, usko vapis jeevit karo. Mahadevji ne apne gano ko aazya di, koi maa apne bache ki aur peeth karke soyi ho toh uske bachee ki garden utaar kar le aao.
Shivji ke gan chaaro aur gaye. Sab maatayen apne bachon ki aur muh karke soyi thi, lekin ek hathani apne bache ki aur peeth karke soi hui thi. Gan uss bache ki garden utaarkar laaye aur laakar putle ko laga di. Bachaa zinda ho gaya. Parvatiji uska vichitr rop dekhkar boli, “ise koi bhi pasand nahi karega.” Shivji bole iska naam Ganesh hoga. Sansaar mein sab log koi bhi puja karne se pehle Ganesh ki puja karege, fir doosri puja karege. Parvatiji Ganeshji jaisa putr paakar bahut khush hui. Hey Mahadev maharaj! Parvatiji ko beta diya waise hum sabko dena. Bhul Chuk shama karna.
5. Ek raja tha aur uska ek maali tha. Raja ne boya chana aur maali ne boi dub. Raja ke chana badhta gaya aur maali ki dub ghat ti gayi. Maali ne socha ki ye kya baat hai, raja ke chana badhta jaa raha hai aur meri dub ghat ti jaa rahi hai. Ek din vo chupkar baith gaya aur usne dekha ki ladkiya dub lene aai hai. Usne ladkiyon ko rokkar pucha kit um log meri dub kyun le jaati ho, aur kisi ka odhna cheen liya. Ladkiyan boli hum solah (16) din gangaur puja kar rahi hai isiliye dub leti hai. 16 din ke baad hum tumhe seera, puri, laapsi, fal laakar dege, tab maali ne unki odhniya wapas kar di. 16 din baad ladkiyon ne khaane ka saaman laakar maali ke ghar par diya. Maali ki maa ne saara saaman kamre mein rakh liya. Shaam ko jab maali ghar aaya, apni maa se kaha bohut bhookh lagi hai. Maa ne kaha aaj ladkiya bohut khaane ka saaman dekar gayi hai, kamre mein rakha hai, kholkar kha lo. Maali se kamre ka dawaza nahi khula. Tab maali ki maa ne roli, kaajal aur mehandi ke cheete darwaze par diye toh kamre ka darwaza khul gaya. Kamre mein esar (shiv) aur gaura (Parvati) baithe hue the.
